Yongsan redevelopment rescue
In Seoul's Yongsan redevelopment zone, cats are losing familiar streets, feeding spots, and places to hide as demolition moves forward. YongsanCats records them by name and photo, then connects each cat to care, foster or adoption paths, public support, and stories people can share.
Help these cats be seen. Cover the redevelopment rescue story, share one named cat, or connect YongsanCats with people who can foster, adopt, or support.

Before / after
The story
YongsanCats keeps each cat visible: a name, a photo, medical needs, foster or adoption needs, and a route for people to foster, adopt, support, or share.
Report on what demolition and relocation mean for cats left behind in familiar streets and colonies.
One named cat is easier to remember, repost, foster, adopt, or support than a large problem in the abstract.
Story angles
Follow the cats, feeding spots, shelter limits, and rescue work that begin after familiar streets are fenced off or demolished.
Journalists, documentary creators, local mediaProfiles like Panda, Starlight, Golden, Vicky, and Blessing turn a complex rescue issue into a story people can remember and share.
Influencers, celebrities, animal accountsCat profiles, missing-pet posters, cat sitting, and public records help people find something they can do now.
Community organizers, expat groups, brand partnersWhat YongsanCats does
YongsanCats documents cats losing feeding spots, hiding places, and colonies around Yongsan and Hannam, then moves each cat toward needed care.
When safe to share, profiles make medical, foster, adoption, or follow-up needs clear enough for people to act.
Missing-pet posters, cat sitting, and community help pages let people report, care, and coordinate while keeping private details protected.
