On the hillside between Bogwang-dong and Hannam-dong, a quick little cat used to appear on top of metal fences — and disappear again in a flash. With his round cheeks, he looked just like a squirrel holding an acorn, which is how Squirrel got his name. He would pop into view with bright curiosity, as if checking on everyone, moving lightly across walls and slopes. He was naturally sociable, often approaching other cats with ease. Squirrel is gentle and easy to handle at the vet — a quiet sign of his trust. He is pettable when he feels safe, though he is still learning to fully trust people. With time, patience, and a stable home, his curious and social nature will help him grow into a deeply connected companion.
