Blessing is one of the most recent rescues from the demolition site. She was found pregnant, coming out from a fully destroyed zone — a place no life should have survived. We thought she was carrying four kittens. She gave birth to six. Despite everything, Blessing remained gentle. She handled ultrasound and nail trimming without any calming medication — a quiet sign of the trust she holds. Right now, she is a little more skittish, having just given birth. But her kittens — now about three weeks old — are growing strong and healthy under the care of a loving foster mom. Blessing is a devoted mother. And when the time comes, we hope to keep that warmth with her — pairing her with one of her babies so she never has to feel alone again. They survived together. And we are endlessly proud of her love.
